IT Requirements Engineer

Responsible for documenting, analyzing, and tracking requirements per government prioritizing and agreeing on requirements. Manage and document change control and communicate to relevant stakeholders. Perform all requirements management lifecycle activities to ensure requirement parameters are accurately reflected. Recommend policies, procedures, methodologies, and tools to be used for collecting and defining user requirements for new, and changes to current systems and processes. Ensure that requirements management and analysis cover the whole scope of a project life cycle and that the processes minimize the potential for incorrect, inaccurate, ambiguous, or excessive definition of requirements that result in schedule delays, wasted resources, and customer dissatisfaction, and that the appropriate review and approval procedures are in place and being used. Participate in defining requirements and standards for all IT services. Document all requirements and standards for all IT services. Ensure requirements meet security policies. Define enterprise-wide requirements and standards for all IT services (e.g., mission, technology strategy, functional, availability, capacity, performance, backup and disaster recovery). Document requirements required to deliver IT services in approved formats. Provide documented requirements and acceptance test criteria per approved requirements standards. Qualifications/Required Skills:
Bachelor degree or 4 years work experience in IT requirements analysis. Excellent customer service and organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must be able to take initiative and work independently or as a member of a team. Must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
multi-tasking, critical thinking; and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment. Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
