The Switchboard Operator/Receptionist is responsible for greeting customers and determines the nature of their visit and directs them to the appropriate personnel.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Record and transmit messages.
Keep records of calls placed.
Provide information to callers and visitors Make and keep log of visitors Operate computer and perform other routine clerical work WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Office and outside work as required by mission.
Nights, Weekend, Overtime and travel dependent on mission requirements.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and fax machine.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Duties may require walking, lifting, standing for long periods and being exposed to hot, cold and wet conditions.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid State Driver's License Must be able to provide proof of U.
S.
Citizenship, such as a U.
S.
Passport, Birth Certificate and vaild drivers license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
SKILLS &
Experience:
Transportation experience perferred.
Familiarity with Defense Transportation Regulation covering Cargo movement Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task under short deadlines.
Effective organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
Customer service skills preferred.
Ability to work with all levels of personal.
SUPERVISORY/ BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY:
No budget or approval authority to obligation to funds.
