Responsibilities Peraton requires Unified Capabilities (UC) Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.
Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
UC Engineers perform tier three voice and video support in accordance with the SIE OPORD.
UC Engineers must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of UC hardware and software.
UC Engineers provide high-level support and technical expertise in unified capabilities, and must be subject matter experts in designing, testing, and implementing UC capabilities throughout the enterprise, and have expert troubleshooting skills.
UC Engineers must have the ability to organize resources and work collaboratively to meet multiple team objectives, as well as interact closely with Government representatives on highly advanced technical issues.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Providing current operations support and subject matter expertise for voice and video services Delivering systems engineering services and expertise for voice, video, data, and transmission networks Supporting operations of unified capabilities test facilities Maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks Troubleshooting enterprise voice, video, cloud, and data networks and evaluating the impact of architectural changes on the network Troubleshooting enterprise WAN/MAN voice, data, and transmission networks and evaluating the effect of architectural changes on the network Troubleshooting CAN/LAN voice and data networks and evaluating the effect of architectural changes on them Implementing engineering changes, upgrades, or installations authorized by the Government Working with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on unified capabilities implementation, optimization and ongoing management Providing high-level support and technical expertise in unified capabilities Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission Positions are contingent on contract award Salary range is based on geographical location.

Qualifications:
BS 8-10 Years, MS 6-8.
Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
DoD Top Secret clearance required, Some locations require TS/SCI CCNP Collaboration OR Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert certification required Prior experience as a UC Engineer supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organizationTarget Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
