Responsibilities:
The Candidate provides the 724th Special Tactics Squadron a Training and Special Project Expert who is a Subject Matter Expert in Course of Action (COA) and Concept of Operation (CONOP) development and subsequent training and operations on a global scale. This position requires IN DEPTH knowledge of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs). Assist in the planning, development and oversight of training/exercise programs which further refine and develop TTPs for operational employment. Work with interagency working groups, National agencies, DOD agencies, US Intelligence agencies and other commands. Work as a team builder to foster consistent interpretation among operations personnel, associated agencies, and directorates of pertinent plans, policy and exercises. Serve as a subject matter expert to higher headquarters. Position requires the employee to be knowledgeable of a wide range of technologies/techniques applicable to the assigned tasks. The employee must perform duties in various levels of compartmented security, each with separate policies and procedures. Decisions made and actions taken are made more difficult by changing international or interagency roles, complex relationships, controversial issues and national priority missions.

Qualifications:
The Candidate shall have: TS/SCI Clearance. Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of worldwide sensitive Special Tactics support and employment mission requirements, including (but not limited to) assault zone survey, and time sensitive targeting in support of command objectives within the OPE and AFO environments. No less than five years' experience. Extensive special operations experience, including in-depth, first-hand experience involving 5 years of working within special operations units and activities. Expert knowledge of CDO, Operational Preparation of the Environment, and Advanced Force Operations training and training management to include exercise planning and execution while working as a OPE/AFO operator or staff officer. Detailed knowledge, as demonstrated via a minimum of 5 years' experience working with national policies and doctrine concerning special operations unit operations as they relate to the planning, management and execution of training and joint level exercises. Expert knowledge of mission, organization and interrelationships of Department of Defense, joint staff, and interagency working groups as demonstrated via no less than 5 years' experience working within this environment. Knowledge and expertise with Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) exercises, special mission unit exercises, and emergency deployment readiness exercises to develop scenarios, concepts, and integrate strategic, operational and tactical levels of participation. Knowledge of implementing and employing Air Force joint deception plans while conducting training and real world missions. Ability to independently conduct research, compile, interpret and analyze a variety of practical and technical data from a wide range of sources, draw conclusions, and devise practical recommendations for action. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing.
