Summary:
Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing logistic analysis support to assist SC/MSE G-4. Compiles data and prepares reports. This individual must have a complete understanding of all data being compiled and be able to perform analysis of the information being supplied to SC/MSE G-4.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Provide logistic analysis support to assist SC/MSE G-4
? Equipping support, coordination/assistance with FORSCOM G-4 ISO SC/unit requirements.
? Assist and provide guidance specific to Reset and Unit Maintained Equipment (UME), as well as Modification Table of Organization and Equipment (MTO&E;) authorizations, Equipment on Hand (EOH), and Equipment Shortages. Assist SC/MSE G-4 with disposition of equipment.
? Acts as interface with FORSCOM and SSA, Army Materiel Command (AMC) for coordination of equipment disposition at the local level.
? Assist with problem resolution specific to logistics and log support requirements, e.g. Maintenance and Equipping.
? Represents SC/MSE G-4 at the installations level specific to policies, guidance.
? Assists units at the installation for addressing policy exceptions, coordination and processing at FORSCOM.
? Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, and transportation.
? Compute reporting performance and supply metrics.
? Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
? Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
? Assist with facilitation of HCI management analysis reviews which will influence internal policy decisions involving the project.
? Prepare correspondence, reports and recommendations for action.
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
? Knowledge of Army Supply policies, processes and procedures.
? Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
? Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active SECRET security clearance throughout the entire duration of the project.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and data/web-based systems.
? Ability to monitor/assess performance of self, other individuals and organizations to make improvements or task corrective action.
? Ability to define work performance standards and define and apply metrics to measure quality performance against established quality standards.
? Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
? Ability to identify problems or potential problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
? Ability to quickly respond to Government-identified problems or potential problems.
Additional Position Information:
Logistics Analysts shall, at a minimum, possess three (3) years of experience providing liaison logistic analysis support to assist SC/MSE G4.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
