Summary:
The Lead is responsible for warehousing support functions; receipt, store, issue, shipping warehousing and accountability of government property. Responsible for ensuring all supply requirements and unit needs are met and performance standards are achieved. Rack and resolve all supply related concerns and issues having importance to supported customers, commander and principle staff. Performs all aspects of warehouse management work (e.g., inventory management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
? Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
? Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products.
? Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet customer requirements
? Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
? Direct team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
? Report project plans, progress, and results.
? Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.
? Investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare reports of findings.
? Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
? Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results.
? Counsel employees about work-related issues Analyze all aspects of warehouse operations to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means to receipt, store, issue and perform care of stocks in storage.
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
? Comprehensive knowledge of Army Retail Supply systems, process, policies, and procedures. AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-2, 735-5 and 725-50
? Must have a thorough knowledge of wholesale and retail logistics and warehousing operations
? Comprehensive knowledge of the theory, principles and methods required to plan, track, and execute warehouse and redistribution operations.
? Working knowledge of Wildcat Maintenance Management Systems (WMMS)
? Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
? Knowledge of management principles, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
? Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
? Capability to operate a warehouse management system and other Government-Furnished Data Systems
? Conduct research, resolve error conditions, and respond to computer output instructions.
? Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
? Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
? Monitor/Assess performance other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
? Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
? Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Additional Position Information:
Bachelor Degree in Management, Business, Logistical and related field is desirable but not required. Minimum three (3) years' experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years and operating warehouse functions.
Site lead personnel must meet required DoD approved baseline certifications as described in the Army BBP 05-PR-M-0002, Information Assurance (IA) Training and Certification v2.0, Table 1, for the IA Technical (IAT).
An equivalent combination of education and experience as identified above.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
