Summary:
Provide analytical network and technical support for SIS and associated processes. Personnel shall work network and technical processes and issues in concert with the USARC G2/6. Provide network and technical support for local site surveys, system fielding, hardware/software upgrades, Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and Software Qualification Trial (SQT). Assist with the production and maintenance of a Network and Technical Support Team Smart Book. Provide SIS life cycle support, to include but not limited to, research and analysis of alternative hardware configurations, support documentation, site implementation processes, information flow and redesign, and system processes into local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) environments.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, and cost or benefit analysis.
Apply analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations and processes.
Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and distribution, supplier management, and transportation.
Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates, and inventory turns.
Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and minimize cost.
Develop and maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating and demand forecasting.
Maintain databases of logistics information.
Maintain logistics records in accordance with corporate policies.
Manage systems to ensure that pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing.
Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity.
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Advanced network knowledge in active directory, imaging, network architecture, TCP-IP, virtual networking, and scripting
Possess expertise in producing and deploying scripts to support network and SIS operations, pushing applicable software across the ArNet, and supporting other scripting processes.
Ability to manage network objects and push software with Global Policy Objects (GPO)
Knowledge of implementing and sustaining a virtual server and workstation environments.
Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Ability to work independently or in a group.
Ability to analyze transactions/data to determine problem area
Determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions
Provide the impacts of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations
Coordinate with functional users to research and resolve functional, operational and procedural problems
Additional Position Information:
HS Diploma required, Advanced Technical Degree preferred
Secret Clearance
Requires five (5) years experience supporting the ArNet Network systems
Requires an active privileged level II user account

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
